I founded Ward Associates to help organizations improve their performance in project, program and portfolio management. With more than 39 years of experience in the field, my insights, perspectives, and advice have been sought by hundreds of companies and government agencies around the world.
I have deep experience in client relationship management, product strategy, consulting, and portfolio management. My efforts helped four clients win the prestigious Excellence in Practice Award from the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD).
I’m a recognized thought leader having presented to more than 200,000 professionals and have authored nine publications and more than 40 articles in project management. I’ve also been quoted in a wide variety of publications and featured on a major network broadcast.
My specialty is “keynotes” where my hallmark combination of humor, storytelling and pragmatic advice, all focused on universal challenges in project management, resonates with a wide variety of audiences around the world.
I love to travel and meet new people. I established a network of partners in eight countries in Asia and Europe.
I’ll go anywhere once, but I often find myself going back again and again because of the never ending thrill I get when meeting new people and tackling new challenges.
I was very pleased when PMI named me the 2013 Winner of the Eric Jenett Award for Project Management Excellence. Eric was one of the founders of the Institute and I would see him at PMI events well into his 80’s. He had great passion for the field and for us as practitioners. Holding an award in his name is really an honor.
So, that’s a little “more about me.” Please feel free to check out my LinkedIn page for additional information!
